Needless to say – wincing, grimacing, and hysterics ensue.

What Brand of Smelling Salt Did Rogan Use?
Never heard of Jujimufu – the world’s strongest smelling salts? You’re not alone. Rogan revealed that he first learnt about Jujimufu smelling salts from strongman Rob Kearney, a guest on JRE #1416 & #1727. When Theodor Capitani von Kurnatowski, aka Theo Von, rocks up at the Joe Rogan studio, you know you’re in for a treat. As a reoccurring guest, he’s one of the most popular guests on the show. After all, when you expect him to zig, he zags.

But, while Theo usually keeps Rogan on his toes, in episode #1731, it was Rogan who left Theo squirming. Revealing he first learnt about the salts from strongman Rob Kearney, Rogan handed the Jujimufu container to Theo.
Barely holding the salts to his nose, the reaction was instant and for a minute or more, the pair were left dumbfounded, overpowered by the potency of the Jujimufu salts. Hilariously, ‘Young Jamie’ can be heard in the background coughing and spluttering.

By the time Von came back on the podcast, for some reason they wanted to do the smelling salts again and almost immediately regretted their decision. Rogan tried to peer pressure Young Jamie into trying some although he sternly refused.

Not satisfied with Round 1 & 2, Rogan upped the game when Theo returned in June 2023. Surprisingly, Theo, already having experience with Jujimufu smelling salts, was very excited and looking forward to Round 3.
